About Me

So.. 

My name's Amy, 22 years old and I'm a borderline obsessive animal lover! 

I currently have 29 animals to date... 5 Axolotls, 2 Rabbits, 3 Guinea Pigs, 3 Gerbils, 5 Mice, 6 Syrian Hamsters, 2 Roborovski Dwarf Hamsters, 2 Duprasi and 1 Adult Giant African Land Snail (and about 100 little babies!)

I currently work in a Pet Centre where I get to interact daily with an array of different animals including Dogs, Cats, Birds (from finches to macaws), Reptiles of varying breeds and size, tropical/ marine/ coldwater fish and many small mammals. Needless to say, I kinda' love my job! My big ambition however would to one day own my own animal sanctuary where I can initiate breeding programmes and also provide education for adults and children alike; here's to hoping!

What else... Well I'm studying at present for a degree in Captive Animal Care, Welfare and Behaviour which is pretty awesome, I love gaming, art and anything to do with Harry Potter and/or Pokemon and I could spend all night watching videos of animals on youtube, so please, feel free to link me TONS.

Anyway, the intention for this blog is to really fill it with everything from day to day anecdotes and pictures of my little crew, animal videos that I find online and absolutely adore, to product reviews and helpful tips for looking after your pets.

Now trust me, I'm not saying I'm an expert by any means... but I do have years of experience caring for my own pets and working in the animal care sector so would ultimately love to pass on what I've learnt, even if I only get one follower! 

My aim is to keep it as entertaining as possible and I LOVE seeing pictures/ hearing stories about other people's pets so feel free to get in touch!
